Visit and tour family-run and historic wine cellars in Montepulciano, the land of a special type of Sangiovese red wines. The wines of Montepulciano are made with the “Prugnolo Gentile” Sangiovese clone and Vino Nobile is includes as one of Tuscany’s DOCG wines. Get properly introduced to some of Tuscany’s lesser-sung fine red wines all on scenic estates miles away from the rumbles of city life. You’ll visit 2 boutique estates where you will learn and taste exceptional red wines of the area. This day is complete with a visit to a characteristic Tuscan hamlet like Montepulciano town or Pienza.
